maybe Countdown does a hidden RNG roll to prime the attack? If so, maybe you just got unlucky, rather than it being a bug (which if it is some "random roll to see if they swing for 125", I'd def have to agree with you that, like. So why/how one leapt to blasting you on turn two, I'm yet unsure. weird one went to smack you after no more than 2 ticks when I couldn't get them to trigger it with twice that. I let both of them live doing this 2 rounds straight, and they still didn't swing on turn three (passive dmg killed em after that. ![]() ![]() Thing is, the hover-text is low on details on how this actually works, and I can't say it's exactly intuitive. ![]() Aight so save scummed Reminiscence to fight that group, and I think it comes down to the fact they have some ability called "Countdown", where they seem to waste their turn, and presumably are "charging" up to a big whammy like you got hit with.
